Examples of recognizable efforts include but are not limited to reducing single-use plastic waste (refusing to use single-use plastic bags, doing away with single-use straws or requiring customers to request a straw before one is given, etc.), installing solar panels on their place of business, utilizing permeable pavement in parking areas, and much more. Every little effort to reduce our community's impact on local ecosystems counts!
